At HPS we’re passionate about delivering presentations and facilitating workshops to organisations to focus on raising awareness of our behaviours and how we impact upon not just our own performance but that of our team. Ultimately, it’s about recognising that we all make mistakes and errors, but it’s how we deal with them that counts. We endeavour to bring about positive cultural change to help reduce the risk from errors and mistakes and further than that, to reduce cost to organisations from financial to personal injury.
We have worked with organisations such as The Armed Forces, Devon Air Ambulance and the NHS and can demonstrate that often the same lessons apply throughout industry, and therefore our aim is to share key principles and best practice.

Having worked within a specialist team of fast jet aviators including highly qualified instructors and test pilots, I became fascinated by human performance and why it is that even the highest of flyers make mistakes.
Since leaving the RAF I have worked with a wide variety of organisations to develop and deliver innovative training sessions using tools such as a 737 full motion flight simulator and Virtual Reality to provide immersive training solutions in an entirely unique way. I have been inspired by the developmental work and innovation in these areas and found that whilst there is human factors training in the wider domain, applying it in a practical and immersive context isn’t so available and so Human Performance Solutions began its journey.
Working in Partnership
We recognise that each organisation will have specific training requirements and the most effective method of delivery may vary between organisations. We are passionate about our profession and draw from a variety of expertise including aviation, medical, nuclear and sports to create the most effective human factors training solutions. As such we have training options working collaboratively with industry expertise including Flybe Training and Cineon Virtual Reality Training. Each course is bespoke and can be developed for your specific training requirements.
